Incredible Hulk - Ultimate Destruction

Hi. Been a while since I've posted, but I've come across a problem trying to back up Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. I've used both DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120 but they are refusing to load beyond the final screen at intro. I'm using Ritek G05 at 1 x burn, so I'm beginning to suspect that there is a copy protection in the game that I haven't factored in.

Is there anyone familiar with this game that can help me please?

I doubt it

What chip/fw revision are you running?

Also, try burning at the fastest speed you can with your writer. (I believe Ritek G05 is 8x? If possible for you, do it)

Modern dyes are designed to be written to at the FASTEST you can and produce the best results at the fastest speeds. Burning slower on more modern dyes tends to cause more problems than it solves to be honest...

I have a new PS2 slimline - Model SCPH 75002. It has been chipped with a Modbo 745 (or 540)

I was told by the seller (and chipper) that Riteks are the best media and to burn at 1x in order to prolong laser life. He even went into detail about how different burning speeds affect laser performance (had something to do with grooves compared to troughs)

Anyway I've found the new unit a bit picky on some of the old games, but not all are on Ritek so I've given it some leeway. Maybe the laser is a dud already?

I'm interested in the fastest burn theory - I might give it a go.

Thanks for your help. Any other suggestions or information is most welcome
