Backup Copy Lego- Chess

I have gone through the full installation , copied all files to a TEMP DIR , recorded all the files from the TEMP DIR ( was told that the copy was successful - I use Easy CD Creator ) done the successful installation from the copy of the game but when I attempt to play the game it asks me to insert the games CD (even though the copy Cd is inserted )

its hard to find a site that shows the procedure for the sucessful copying ,can anybody help ?
