Emperor Battle For DUNE Setup found and Question

The 1.04 setup is on game copy world along with fixed .exes for the game.

My question.
1. whats the easiest way to get the cracked setup on the CD so i can install the game.

2. once the cracked setup is implemented is it recomended to leave the game at ver. 1.04 or is it ok to upgrade to current 1.07 (what a crap coding dept they have 7 patches allready? sheesh)

DRAP THE WHOLE OF THE CD CONTENTS TO HARD DRIVE AND NAME THE DISC AS SAME AS ORIGANEL


PS THE SETUP.EXE DOES NOT WORK OFF GCW I TRYED IT I USED A OLD BLINDREAD 2.02 TO COPY IT TOO HARD DRIVE AND WRITE IT TO A CD-RW DISC AND IT DID NOT INSTALL THE SCREEN JUST FLASHED!!
I HAVE ENGLISH 1.4 VERSION AND I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THE SETUP.EXE
