Which DVD Blank Media Should I buy?

I've been using Ritek G04 DVD-R 4x ever since I start backing up my DVD collection and never had any problem with them. The G04 price goes around 43c/disc at www.meritline.com

My question is; Are there any other Brand that offer the same quality/reliability for a lower price?

Merlitline list below brand as "Premium Grade"

BeAll DVD R Media ($0.31 each)
Hyundai DVD R Media ($0.29 each)
LG DVD R Media ($0.35 Each)
Optodisc DVD R Media ($0.25 Each)
PioData DVD R Media
Prime DVD R Media
Ritek DVD R Media ($0.43 Each)
Ritek RiData DVD R Media ($0.42 Each)

Should I stick to Ritek? Or would you like to share with me your favorite brand name?

Thanks For all your help

Stick to Ritek. Test any other media at your own risk.

Also please only post your question once. Your other copycat thread has been deleted.

OK so I will stick to Ritek .. .. but are all Ritek equal? G04 4x, G05 8x?

Price on the G05 8x is actually cheaper than the G04 4x.
However the dye color on G05 is not purple ----->

Speed is not a big deal for me, Quality&Price are what I'm looking for.

Am I making any sence? G04? G05? Help!

Also Ritek , Ritek Ridata. Are they not the same? which is better?

Thanks

I personally dont like the lighter shaded Riteks. Ive had bad experiances with them. I would recommend sending back any lighter colored Riteks for darker purple ones.

Best Place for Ritek
But get DVD-R instead of DVD+R

question

Will dvd-R's do multisession burns...?

For instance, if I burn 300 meg now, can I later burn to same DVD additional data as you can with DVD+R's....?

For some reason, I thought -R's were one time use, regardless of amount of data burned....hoping I am wrong, as -R prices have really gotten good!

Thanks
