Champion Of Norrath Work In Progress

hi all,

i am working on backing up champions of norrath.
search over 4+ web site.
put infomations together.
and this is what i got.
remember this is NOT MY OWN WORKS. i just gather info and try to figure out and hope it works. from original 1 disk to backup into 2 disk cus file is over 4.7 gig.

1) visit here and download file http://www.swapmagicfix.com/

2) u will need these sofware:
dvd decrypter
ultraiso
Sony cd/dvd generator v1.50

3) open dvd decrypter
mode>iso>read r
put in your original champions of norrath
distination>"make a folder in your hard drive i.e. c:\1iso"
click on decrypt and wait till done, close dvd decrypter

4) open ultraiso
file>open iso file that u just decrypted and save in #3 above
actions>extract... choose location... i.e. c:\1ripped
wait till done, then close ultraiso

5) open cd/dvd generator v1.50
create new project>ok
dvd-rom master disc>ok
open the folder that u ripped and save it from above at #4
drag and drop these files and folder into cd/dvd generator v1.50 DIRECTORY THIS EXACT ORDER: "SYSTEM.CNF, SLUS_205.65, NTGUI2.ELF, CONF, DATA, DATA2, MODULES, MODULES2, NETGUI, NGC, and BG"
this information is give in #1 when u downloaded the file that match your verion. read it.

click on LAYOUT
go down to file "system.cnf" that the first one in black
right click it>location
and change this location to match the file u download in #1 web site.
i.e. my version is 7+, so location start at 0000992 according to file for disk1.
click Volume
master disc information>disc name
enter "slus-20565"
then click record...

this is where i am stuck at.
click record u suppose to get an error that it cant support your burner drive. that normal. FILE>EXPORT IML FILE. then u can export this image and use your normal burning software and burn it on your dvd-r that u typicaly do.

BUT I GOT AN ERROR "Too short location length. (less then 600000 sector)". I try file>export iml file...same error, can't save. i also try file>export map file...same"Too short location length. (less then 600000 sector)"

anyway this is where i am stuck at. plz hlp if u can. i did 90% of the works there.
Now click on the burn button in the program you should get an error but this is normal if it doesn't support your burner doesn't matter though because it will let you create the image files. It will then bring up another window that says recording unit controller. From here just click on file then export image. Save it to another location on your hard dive.

Go to the bottom left of your computer where it says start and go to where it says run. Type this in cmd or command and press enter. It will give you a dos prompt. We are going to make the iso using dos so make sure you remember what you named your .iml files should be something like this backup.000,backup.001 etc...Or whatever you named them. You also need to know what hard drive you saved them all to C:,D: etc... Now go to the directory where you exported your image too and run this command:

copy /b backup.000 + backup.001 + backup.002 + backup.003 gamebackup.iso

**NOTE** Of course if you named your image something else you will have to use that instead of backup.

This will make your iso file just be patient and make sure that you type in the names of your .iml files you saved them as example: I saved my .iml files as backup so if you saved them as a different name use it. The gamebackup.iso file is also changeable you can name this anything you want but I would make sure you name it something different than your .iml files.

You should now see the .iml files such as this forming
backup.000
backup.001
backup.002
backup.003
This is making the iso and saving it to the drive that you placed all your .iml files to.

well that what suppose to happen and then u burn your disk1
then u do your disk2 with different LOCATION #.

SO IF SOME ONE CAN HELP ME OUT WHERE I AM STUCK AT. I CAN VERIFY AND HELP RESEARCH THIS ALONG. UNTILL THEN CHECK U LATER. HOPE THIS HELPS.

i got the 1.2 version.

do you have to have a sony burner for it to work?

the 1.2 version doesnt work with my LG burner. Was wondering if the newer 1.5 version would work? Anyone know?
