I want to install this game and play it since I bought it quite sometime ago and left it unopened once I found it contained starforce. I recently found out about the reloaded patch that removes the starforce requirement but I still have a question after reading the instructions and searching this forum...Once I install the game I assume that starforce is installed. Does the patch remove the starforce drivers from my system or something? I don't want them on my system at all. Thanks.

No-CD patches overwrite the game executable to get rid of checking the copy protection. Everything else is left as it is, they don't remove components of the copy protection. If the game installs the drivers in the background, don't let the PC to be rebooted, remove the drivers at once: http://www.glop.org/starforce/remove.php.
