Windows Media Player Query.
Hi,
This is my first post, So if it is a stupid question, I apologise! I am trying to put my whole music collection on to an external hard drive and would like to get media player on to the hard drive as well. At the moment I seem to be able to store music on the hard drive, but Media player keeps it's library on my P.C's hard drive. can I get the whole lot on to my external drive? thanks for your help. Cheers Nick |

I was able to using a portable installation of foobar2000 to do what I think you're looking for. I pointed the library to a location on the drive by using ./ and ../ file location notation which references the player's location allowing for a custom music player with your library shown in the player no matter what computer its plugged into.
