Data Recovery

I recently had to re-format my hard disk after a virus infection in which the computer would not start up. Now I have it back up and running, but there were files on which I would have preferred to keep (Especially my FM07 data file as Doncaster Rovers ).

I was wondering if anyone knew how to recover some of these or any software that they have found to be reliable?

Thanks in advance
