What is the best media for backups?

What media have people had success with?

Hi,

I think the best media for backups is VErbatim CDRs they have a dark blue layer which makes them better then most media types. This sort of topic has come up before and we all have our own views. If you use a branded disc like Verbatim TDK or Sony your be fine.

I agree Verbatim CDRs - but they are expensive for coaster production. Until you are really sure of yourself, PC LINE CD-Rs (the 700MB ones in the tub) provide a good alternative for PS2 (which has a stong laser).
