Ok this is how it go's my version of D2 is scratced, well only my play cd is scrached the rest the install and cinematcs cd are fine, so iam trying to make a copy of my freinds cd scence i already have the cd key of my my own D2. At first i tried to burn it with easycreator i soon learned that it wouldn't work. That was a whilel back, and yesturday i learned how to iso so i treid a test on my install cd and that work so i toke my play disc and tried. All the steps work i made my iso and then i extractd the files and burnt the to a rw/cd, cause i don't want to wast all my cd's. But unfurtunatly that didn't work so then i came to the site last night and i found out about clony and the specalties and particularties of clonecd so i got myself clony, and instaled the version of clonecd i had. I ran clony to find out what protetections D2 had, to my surprise none where found. so i tried to make a burn of my play disc with clonecd. The process stop when it got to the burning, my burner apperantly can't read the .ccd file. I'am using a (matashita cd-rw cw-7586) well actually that is what my computer ditects it supposed to be a panasonic. So now that you no my probems my questions are, are there any way to make my cdr read the .ccd file?, can my problem be cause iam burning it on a rerecordable?, and is there any other way for me to accumplishe the copying of my cd. If anyone has any feed back what so ever it will be very well come, anything at all patches to help my burner read the .ccd an other way of burning my copy an other program what so ever i will really appreacate, cause i have been looking for i way to do this for the past 6 months.
THANK YOU FOR EVEN READING THIS AND EVEN MORE SO TO ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME

Diablo 2 is SecuROM Protected on the Disk 2 and Disk 3, the Disk 1 has no protection at all. (Some ppl said the protection was on Disk1 but it just a rumour)

First -->
Check your hardware in cloneCD Homepage that if your CDR is compatible with this software.

if yes use this setting
read subchannel from data tracks : ON
read subchannel data from audio tracks : ON
burn it.

if no then... you know..... find someone that has a CDRW that's compatible with CloneCD

..... and remember .....
Easy CD Creator is for beginner...
And sometimes it is not compatible with some CDR software.

So, Don't try to install tons of burning software in computer. It doesn't worth.

Software I always use is...
Nero for mp3 and back up Data
Disjuggler for backup SafeDisc CD with my Teac 55S & Teac 532S
CloneCD to back up SecuROM CD with my HP9110

If your CDRW is working properly and no problem buring CD
Don't upgrade the firmware!
