Can you copy original PS2 CDs and play on chipped PS2, or do they need to be cracked?
Just wondering if I can copy my brother's original PS2 CDs and play on chipped PS2, or would it need to be cracked?
If they need to be cracked, is there places to find patches for them? (or are there some games that don't have any protection?) |

If you have a CD writer that is fully supported by cloneCD, you don't need to patch any of the CD games for the PS2 with a mod. That's what I recommend because then you don't have wait for the patches to be available and you don't have mess with ISO's.

Park's statement cannot be applied to every mod chip and every version of ps2 so let us know what you're using and we'll be more specific. For compact discs, CloneCD is the best proggy to use tho.
