Counter Strike - Source Editing
Hey all I hope someone here can help me out. I have mapped for counter strike on the old Half life game engine with World-Craft then Hammer in the past with no problems. I am however having a small issue with editing CS with this new HL2 engine. I have been all over the net reading and looking for the right answer, but I just can't seem to find one that works for me. My problem is making a skybox that will work. Right now when I complile my map and look up at the sky it looks like your stoned on acid or something, lol. With the old half-life engine I would just make a box around my map and select the skybox texture and apply it. Then I would go and tell it what sky I wanted to have displayed in the map properties. This new updated Hammer dosent seem to work the same way. I know there is the option of a 3D Skybox that allows you to add the illusion of a bigger map by use of buildings in the distance and stuff like that, all i want to know is how to get the basic sky to show up, after that I'll work on the 3D stuff,lol.
