Editing Default.xbe - Enter The Matrix

Hi

Can anyone give detailed info. as to how i edit the default.xbe for Enter The Matrix ?
i opened the default.xbe and was confronted by row after row of code e.g.
>00000000: ................................................
>0000001C: ................................................
>00000038: ................................................

which line needs to be edited?

Thanks in advance

well you could edit the default.xbe manually or you could use the xbe patcher built into the mulitdisc program craxtion.

Here is where I got the info (also has automatic patching tools).

Look for this string
74 4B E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 7D 06 33 C0 50 50 EB 44 F6 05
and replace it with
74 4B E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 EB 06 33 C0 50 50 EB 44 F6 05

If you cannot find it, search for this string:
E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 7D
and replace with
E8 CA FD FF FF 85 C0 EB

that works but it would be easier for you just to use the patcher in isocraxtion it auto searches for the two strings which need patching and it is very reliable.
