Shenmue 2 English Speech Packs

Hi,
Ever since Darkfalz released english speech packs for Shenmue 2, I have been trying to get hold of them. Jeffma's hard drive crashed and I was unable to get them. Does anyone have these archived? Are they still floating around? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Darkfalz's pack is not English Speech Pack
it is Japanese Speech Pack.

if you need the english speech
just pick from Xbox shenmue2
the voice format is the same

Maybe I misunderstood something then. I thought the ones he was talking about under this post:

were english speech packs for Shenmue II...

and the ones he was talking about under this post:
http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50423
were japanese for the 1st Shenmue that he ended up not finishing.

Anyhow... so you're saying that the sound files from the XBOX version are already compatible with the Euro DC version and most of them can be put in the proper directories in in Shenmue II Euro?

oh i didnt know someone was already working on shenmue1 with english texts and japanese voices, i wanted to do it but couldnt find the japanse version anywhere, or someone who could share the files i needed.
anyway, is this release available somewhere? i never seen it.

about shenmue2 even in the original japanese voices release every voice file dont fit, most of the speech files remaining are the ones used in cut scenes.
if you want to make a version with english voices you should put the voice files from the xbox version only when they were not removed in the version with japanese voices. the voice files are the same in xbox and dc afaik.

I just picked up Shenmue 2 for XBOX the other day at Fry's for $14.99 brand new. Now I just need to read up on how to rip the files from an XBOX game. I have zero experience in this area.

Ah poo.
I thought I would be able to use a program to read files from XBOX games with the DVD drive on my PC... However, I just read on the XBOX forum and it seems that the only way is to mod an XBOX and network it to ur PC. That kinda stinks since I don't have an XBOX or any interest in getting one. I bought Shenmue 2 solely for the purpose of getting those english voice files. I suppose that was a stupid move on my part.
If anyone has any information that could help me with this issue, please pm me.
