devhook is a piece of software that can be run on version 1.50 psp's it basically allows you to emulate higher firmware versions while still keeping the psp's firmware at version 1.50, allowing the full features of the newer firmwares to be used without the risk of flashing customised frmwares
devhook is essentially obsolete now with the release of the customised firmwares by DARK ALEX and as such the highest it can emulate is version 3.01 it's still a handy piece of software to have though
