REAL WARS REAL PROBLEM

Has anyone tryed to backup REAL WARS (pc) ?
I've tried without success I think it has some sort of NEW protection..
I have Tried with Plextor 8/20 & Liteon 24/10/40
and clonecd without success.
I have never before not been able to backup a Disc.
This one is very interesting.
It has no protection acourding to all the protection detection tools (Clony,PcCopy.YAPS)It also has several rings visible on the disc and when you try to backup it is slow to read then speeds up then slows which seems to be in line with the rings!!!
If anyone has tried this game I would be interested in any comments or more importantly any help to be able to backup this Game.
BTW: the game was bought in Australia.
