Latest Nero version problem.
just installed the upgrade version of the newest Nero, and when I restart the computer, as it asks me to do, I run the program and it get's to the "scanning scsi/ide bus" screen and hangs there everytime....
I'm using WinXP and have an IDE Sony CRX-175E Burner, with version 5.5.6.4 or whatever the latest version is..... worked before I upgraded... weird. Any help/suggestions???

I also tried latest version of Nero which was 5.5.5.0 with Xp Pro. My CD writer is no longer recognised by the software?? It works fine with 5.5.1.8 in Win 98 SE and Xp recognises my CD writer. But Nero 5.5.5.0 will not work and 5.5.1.8 will not install in XP because i get an extra set up in the install. It request i select the users allowed to burn with Nero, problem is the box it brings up is empty. So i still use Win 98 cause i like my Nero .

I posted something a month or so ago to confirm that Nero etc all wotk with Windows XP. The only thing you have to do is to de-install it all first. I installed in the order Nero, CDRWin. I mention this because the CDRWin ASPI drivers were the last to be loaded and it all works perfectly.

Nero sucks big time! It always gives errors. Even after uninstalling it, Diskjuggler won't work anymore.
