How to make Video Cd's

I'm sure this gets asked all the time, but if somebody could just point me in the right direction or help me out.

I've got nero, I've got a lite-on cd burner, I've got a blank cd, and I've got an AVI movie.

The main problem I have is how do I burn it onto a video cd? It's much more than 80 minutes. How can I break it down? Or what do I have to do?

Thanks for your patience and help.

nobody helped me but i didnt know about forums so i struggled for about two months bot i got there in the end. anyway this will do the trick

i dont know the difference but svcd doesnt play in all dvd players so i stick to making vcds to make them you need:-

dvd decrypter
dvd2avi
tmpgenc

youll find these on this site

nero 5 this is to burn the mpeg you have created use make vcd in the wizard then drag and drop your mpeg and it will burn as a dat file the end product will autoplay in your dvd player.

instructions for vcdgalaxy dvd rip combo pack at www.vcdgalaxy.com but dont use the combo pack the tools are the same as ive listed but out of date and the instructions are slightly wrong with the updated versions but use what info you can off them and it will work

Monty Burns is on a distinguished road
DVDx is a good solution for people who don't wanna mess around with too many tools.
I had some problems using it, when the dvd was protected.

My favourites are: smartripper, dvd2avi and tmpgenc.

Where do you get that program you are talking about Neo? I can't find it on www.cdmediaworld.com (the offbranch of gcw.com). Could you just send me the program?

Thanks, I really appreciate it. Later.
