Lol either everyone was too lazy to do it, didn't have a gpu with over 2gb of vram, or it was too hard for them. I'm glad I could help though

Also would someone mind dropping one of their saved projects (*.asc)? I'm having trouble with some of the configurations, so I figured I could learn by example.

BTW @Razor12911 why don't you post this up on some sort of download site like fosshub or sourceforge, or if it's not opensource, maybe something like softpedia? I think your user base would grow nicely if you did. Also what are your thought on redistribution of ASC?

Well I could but been busy lately but everything is clearing up, will be free as from the 2nd of November. About distribution, I thought of distributing the program in various sites but it's not ready, still has a couple of bugs here and there but at least I found a couple of people who have been helping this past month with the project. About projects, I made a couple of templates but asc just keeps messing up with the encryption and locking me out and trying to hack AES-256 with passwords at random and 36 characters long is impossible in this lifetime, so I always have to start all over but I fixed that problem now. So far with projects, the uploaded version is quite buggy that even when saving your project is like flipping a coin, if it lands on the wrong side then everything lost without saving.

Anyways, here's another test.

if using Windows 8, 8.1 or 10, please switch off Windows Defender, it offends ASC. After running the exe, head over to System requirements then start clicking according the uploaded picture.

Thanks in advance.

what are your system specs exactly? Because I've tested this thing on all operating systems I can think of, both amd and intel cpu. intel, nvidia and ati gpus. Ram range of 4gb to 32gb and all tests passed.

i already added crc check, you can either use sha1 or md5, but i first to finish what i'm doing and fix all bugs, i have added a lot of things in 0.0.5, text to speech, crc check, effects, improved math calculations, fixed multilanguage bug, fixed radio buttons, auto evade bugs caused by windows defender, added video playback, added diamond and triangle as shapes, fix installation bug, added precom043, added new compare rule, and etc... The list just goes on...

Sweet looks like 0.0.5 will be a good a one, I look forward to this milestone.

Everything showed up properly for me.
Also I'm not sure if the method for checking cpu requirements is a good one, since even low frequency intel cpu's will do better then a high frequency amd one, and while amd cpu's will have more threads/cores intel ones will still perform better. I guess the best way to do it would be to separate requirements between the two chip makers. But of course if it turns out to be hard to add such a feature it would just be a hassle to add.

thanks. I think I fixed the bug that make the setup close unexpectedly on other people's computers by making asc come with opencl.dll and messing about with the source. I also added elasped, remaining, estimated time. I'll be adding transfer rate calculator to show info like 7 mb/s when installing. Also changed method for detecting system memory, normally on my pc it says i have 4020mb of ram although, i installed 4096mb ram, fix that part. Also checked with another user who has an amd processor, no problems reported with core count, pakrat2k2, your cpu has the opposite of hyper threading, lol. I also tried to improve gpu memory detection for people with sli or crossfire setup, it will add the memory size of each.

GPU memory detection is weird, when I try to make a ISS script that reads vram, the setup crashes on my pc, when it works for others.

it does happen, and I hate it. The are various methods of detect pc components but not all of them work. Within asc, i have 3 choices, first, to detect via regedit, only problem is reading qword data types, second is through wmi, this method has a tendency of having unexpected errors on win8. Third is through opencl which i don't know quite well but i am currently using it.
