patch problem - reloaded version

Hi,

I have problems with my Reloaded version game. I could'nt install the 1.2 patch 'cause, I received this error message:"Applying MODIFY File Patch for 'GameData\cars\int.big'

error ept0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match.

----- Race Driver 2 Patch Finished -----
Error code: 36"

I tried to replace and copy the int.big, but its same as on the DVD. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times but I got same results.

Is it possible if this file in- my Program files -is modded already?

Please help!

Check the version number on the main menu screen, the patch will only patch v1.0 to v1.2.

Unfortunatelly I could not check the main menu, because the game doesnot work without the patch. As I mentioned I use the Reloaded version and the GCW has the crack. I also tried the ver1.0 patch and still exist my problem.

Please help

thx

@sasa74
Obviously you didnt bother to read the 'popup' you would have seen before entering this site? Surely you would have noticed the part that said "NO WAREZ"!!!!
Go and read the rules whilst you are still a member as you probably wont be a member here for much longer!!

Update the game FIRST & overvrite the ***.exe file with crack after the update it's all. Don't use the crack first because the update can not found a original ****.exe just found a crack they are same name as original but are not the old file.
Reinstall the game update it use the crack and play.

I did same as you wrote but I could not finish even the upgrade, as before. I did not use the c::::k,
and the upgrade is finished with:
[COLOR="Magenta"]Patch for 'GameData\cars\int.big'

error ept0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match.

----- Race Driver 2 Patch Finished -----
Error code: 36"

Maybe, the int.big file is the reason of the error

Can somebody send it or something...

pls help

Hmmm, you wont find a 1.2 update patch on the 'Retail' (purchased) disc!! Brings me to ask, what disc are you talking about?

It must be a later realease, I have the Australian release (its called V8 Supercars over here but is exactly the same game as Toca 2) and I purchased it on the day it was released. The 1.2 update came out a few months later so I guess they now include it on the DVD. Personally I dont like to use the 1.2 update, as it smooths out some bumps in the Australian Bathhurst track, and I actually prefer the track with the bumps. It is more realistic with the real track without the v1.2 update.

DAMN, and I thought that the reason for me being able to do ONE DAMN LAP on Bathurst at reasonable speed and without crashing the car very badly was that I finally managed to learn to control the cars properly...!
