The UT2k3-Version i own is for sure protected with Securom (Version 4.83.55.0017 to be exact). But nonetheless i managed to BURN A 1:1 COPY!
For all of you wondering how: I used the Blindwrite Suite Version 4.2.2.12 to do the Job including the "Physical CD characteristic dumper". And it worked! Okay, it heavily searches on the copy when starting the game, so itīs not a perfect copy at all, but after a while it finds enough "good" physical structures on the copy to bypass the protection.

If a copy works, and no NO-CD crack is needed - why want a 1:1 copy? Whats the difference then?

Vluka is right about the not being able to make a copy from the copy.
Try and backup your copy using the process u did to create it and you'll see what is meant.

would be by reading the data track as audio. but only very few drives can do that. btw amplified weak sectors are no 1:1 copy either. you can detect it very easily. on lots of drives you can even tell real (c2) bad sectors from faked ( clonecd's wrong edc sectors ) bad sectors. the reason that sd2 doesnt check this is simple: compatibility... |
