i think the only thing missing from it that 2.2 has is msc

go to the resources tab & input the type there, it accepts more then just 7z.

dont forget this is a 3 year old script so NONE of the newer compression methods work, you have to stick with just basic types or use completely different script.

in fact it was the first installer i ever used

there do exist newer scripts wich are very easily customizable
very easy to add support of new compressors particularly this one

i still got the source files but i don't have the time to make it, also i don't wanna give the source materials to others because it's more than one person's work.

I have a problem. I use BlackBox v2 Designer and everything seems fine only after compiling instead of a shortcut to the .exe file on the desktop I have the entire folder with the game. How to change it. I give you no idea about scripts and in addition my English is on a weak level.

You add at the main icon file the exe location and under you add the name of the shortcut.

for example my game require that in the shortcut

\my game.exe -comand -comand

I tried but the setup makes a useless shortcut

You can test by replacing the botva2.iss script attached to this post in "..\Script\Modules" folder (This way I think the shortcuts will be overwritten. Only the project developer can change the original script and recompile Compiler.exe).
If it works, you must use a new key in Setup.ini:
Icon1Param=, ExtraIcon1Param=, ExtraIcon2Param=, ExtraIcon3Param=, ExtraIcon4Param=, ExtraIcon5Param=, ExtraIcon6Param=
