Act of War: High Treason mini image needed

I think making an image won't work if the protection itself hasn't been done properly. Still, it's either that or trying to return it (which I would recommend, companies only listen to things like a huge return percentage or a lot of badmouthing)

If it doesn't work and you can return it for a full refund, I'd do that otherwise you might wait a bit. But don't expect a crack for 1.1 to pop up soon...

The european version uses TAGES which is difficult to crack and/or emulate, the australian version is Securom which can also be very hard to crack. Patches are traditionally not cracked as often as the initial release, that's why you probably won't see one for this. It could happen but nobody here knows when or even if it will be cracked.

Dear All
Have managed to do a 'full image' backup of the the Aust. version (ie. Securom 7) which works with the asr.exe method okay (well on one computer at least) - just wondering if anyone has any better guides to do doing a maxi image for this game. As have tried the methods supplied via this forum without luck - will be quite happy to upload a working maxi image once I've created it.

A 'maxi' image has been sent to GCW - works with the Australian version and Patch #1 (you'll need DT4.03). Instructions included in archive.
Tested on a P4 running WinXP sp2 (32bit).
Hopefully by the weekend should be up on GCW so have fun.

I would just like to remember that this hole mess happened only because game companies handle you like a pirate, like a criminal and deshonest person.

Take the GOOD example o Stardock. They released Galactic Civilizations 2 without ANY anti-piracy, anti-copy protection. The game sales ware huge because the game is GOOD! If it is good, people will buy it.

Of course there ware pirated versions of the game, but they didn't hurt the sales and, what is most important, people which bought the game legaly were able to play it! They were not treated like criminals by Stardock.

hi all, i've been searching for a working image file for AoW_HT (My copy is the European version--TAGES copy protection)..... will there be a fixed exe comin or maybe a working image file?
