The V10 is just in my opinion a continuation of Sony's quest to make ther stations cheaper and cheaper - not better! Look at the PSX models - the 1002 was filled with so much metal shielding and noise protection - multiple laser adjust points etc... then we finally got the PSOne - and just look how cheaply that was made! I agree with most of you guy's comments - I have been installing for years and have yet to have a station die on me! And I have used some scary chips in my time - i.e. Magic3.0 just because they were the best or most available at the time... I think it comes down a lot to who is installing! their tools and who you buy the chips from!
