I have Splinter Cell for PC but I broke my CD when moving, does anyone have a No CD fix for the 1.2b patch?

I made it to the 3rd section of the game (3rd chapter) but can no longer play as my cd on my pc doesn't read scotch tape or the big crack in the CD....

OK, the crack keeps asking me to insert the game CD into drive, if this is a fix, it is not working correctly as my game CD is broke and Ubi Soft wants $10 for a new game launch CD to be shipped to me.

is there a registry hack I need to do for the file to work correctly or is there an INI file line that I need to change?

ubi has a 90-day-warranty.
they will replace your disc for free if it breaks in the first 90 days of purchase.

and i would spend 10$ / 10€ to get a new original cd. still cheaper than buying a new copy of SC for the full prize.

GCW still hosts a v1.2 NoCD and a Fixed-Exe for this Game.

Thats for the 5 people who have been spamming PM's to me since Sunday night for some bizzare reason
