Hi y_the last knight

when im installing the game if i hit the logo.png pic to show the ripper details it got crash and here is error msg

i used razor compressor

and this is the compress method :
msrep64+delta+lzma64

when i create the installer and run the setup

setup get this error


any one could help me

Using black box scrip here to create setup : http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=94425

Then use razor compress with method

-mlzma:a1:mfbt4:d158m:fb273:mc1000:lc8
- Select Precomp : 0.43

NOTE : i tested this method with 5 game (with size 5gb, 10gb, 17 gb, 27gb, 3gb), i was repack and no error when i run setup, you need use : "Main(Compact.Mode-precomp.0.43).iss" to create setup

I think unarc.dll correction is needed.

I have a repack of a game, packed in three file (Setup-1.bin - Setup-2.bin - Setup-3.bin).
I used the tool "Compressor v1.2.0" -> (precomp 0.38) Method -> -msrep+delta+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d158m:fb273:mc1000:lc8

a -ep1 -r -ed -lc512 -ld512 -mt1 -msrep+delta+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d158m:fb273:mc1000:lc8 "" "\*"

In the tool "BlackBox v2 designer" That compression method should i choose to decompression the file (.bin) the Setup.exe?
In addition, I would like to know if it is possible to change the language of the setup, exe in Italian? -> BlackBox v2 Designer

your decrompession will be in External archives (external compression-tab), more specificly "FreeARC".
other languages other than english are currently not supported

To decompress ... I solved by replacing some files precomp.exe, unarc.dll, CLS-precomp.dll etc ...

I detect a error : when i repack a game, then setup it
while install, if i click on logo to show ripper, the install will stop. if i don't click logo ripper, the install normal until finish

and i have question : i should select method Compress to compress ?; if i used Compress 1.20 razor

methods in the compressor are sorted from the top to bottom, going down increases data compression and going up decreases data compression.

Using the external compressor DLG_S precomp 0.43

Grabbed the unarc.dll from the page here and replaced it. gives error code -6..

But able to open the .bin using freearc 666

Any ideas?

Well I think bb Designer have precomp 0.42 version..
so use 0.42 for compressor and designer..

Thank You, been fiddling around with different compressors and the BBV2 itself is 0.42 so when I managed to get it to start unpacking it would say incorrect precomp. Using the provided compressor and BBV2 works like a champ.
