Rebuild by "theimperatorum" 100% works for the German Version.
Group114.cab extracted with WinAce 2.2, FR & IT Speechfiles replaced with 2x 0Byte Files (2 .txt Files withouh extension).
Recompress only the files, not the dir, with Option for MS-Cabinet-Archive and no Compression, "save only" fileoptions.
New archive rename to Group114 and thats all.
Installation finished without Errors.
Tested on WinXP SP2

the LastSequence in table [Media] is bounded to the table [File]
it means Group114 contains the files up to the number indicated in LastSequence.

Don't change the number in LastSequence. It's a reference value for the [Media] table nothing more.

NFSU DVD9 - 2xDVD5 for someone who need it:

-Create 2 folder name DVD1 and DVD2.

-Copy all the file from DVD9 to DVD1 folder except Group10.cab, Group11.cab, Group12.cab, Group13.cab, Group131.cab to Group139.cab.

-Now copy Group10.cab, Group11.cab, Group12.cab, Group13.cab, Group131.cab to Group139.cab, autorun.inf, nfs_icon.ico to DVD2 folder.Edit the autorun.inf like this:

Icon=nfs_icon.ico

Go to DVD1 folder,open file autorun.dat with orca and edit it like this:


Now burn the DVD1 folder with name Disk 1 and DVD2 folder with name Disk 2.

Install Sequence will be: Disk 1 - Disk 2 - Disk 1.

Why you just don't go to the shop where you bought the game and exchange it for the German version?

aside that...
to make the german language appear in the language selection screen, in the support folder there's a "localization.ini" file. open it with notepad and add the following line to [LOCALES] group: de=1

this will make the deutsch language appears in the language selection screen and the installation will show everything in german but won't install because it miss the transforms for german language.

edit: I've created a faked transform (mst) for the german language using the english one.
the german files must be renamed to the english ones and overwritten inside the cab. setup will install them.

The-revenge is right Ravd.
do this:
.- Copy autorun.dat to another folder
.- rename it to autorun.msi
.- run it
you'll see "Pro Street" screens instead of "Undercover".
A lot of errors will appear since many definitions aren't applied (it must run through autorun.exe)

The original installer is from Pro Street. That's one of the reasons you have empty cabs (e.g: group134.cab, group135.cab, group136.cab)

I removed all langugaes under except italian. In reality my friends did this, but i followed him while he did this. He use windows XP 64 bit. I followed your istruction.

If you're going to leave only one language under [LOCALES] then leave atleast one other with space added before it, best is to not remove at all and add space for all languages not needed.

EXAMPLE

it=1
[space]en-uk=1
[space]fr-fr=1
and so on

[LOCALES] 
it=1 
 en-uk=1 
 fr-fr=1

If you don't do this then for some reason it will skip language selection and it doesn't add needed settings and then it will get that autorun with prostreet

Tried ravd's method and it works.

I used the batch file and compressed all the large CAB files. Exchange the DX folder with a dummy and still left some space for me to include Update, NoCD and Game Guide.

For those with 2 or more cores, I suggest you to run the batch file in 2 or more instances so you can compress more at the same time and save time.

hi.i had this same problem.do not use ultraiso.normal burn it on dvd draw and drop.Me this undo problem. good luck!
