According to Vitality's .nfo file, the only difference between the two cracks is whether it crashes upon exiting the game (Reloaded) or not (Vitality). So both work, only Reloaded's has a little annoyance in it. Can't check it myself, don't have the game...

vty fixed a dll from the game which is not copy protection related. The exception this dll causes is normally catched by the securom exception handler.

I know. This is exactly what this thread is about: is that a proper? From a cracker's point of view, no; from a gamer's point of view, yes.

Crackers shouldn't be that strict. Telling people "We don't fix bugs, we only crack protection" seems a little nonsense to me. Why not to fix it? Dealing with protection is ok but fixing a dll is not? Why is that? Of course they can do anything they want but making a game run without protection and making it run better is both fun. Espacially if you are cracking games just for "fun"! Making games run better is not illegal isn't it?

Of course, why don't they fix wrong translations on the way...
Crackers crack protections, and if you want to measure their skill/success you would do that by how good they do exactly what they do. Propering a working crack for not having done something they're not supposed to do anyway is just bullshit.

And don't take the 'just for fun' thing to serious, it's competition after all.
Once you start fixing bugs caused by the devs you've clearly lost the focus...

My 2 cents...
