Well , its not the IDE opticals or CD/rom driver the problem.It's the YASU.

if i start the game without yasu he gonna tell me that i have an emulator.
But if i run YASU the game gonna crash. dont know why

But i try to close YASU in The task manager after enable it.. but its crash some shit so dont do it....i was thinking to game just detect yasu...but nm

this remember me Gothic 3 if u got crashing error... Just retry and retry i got on the game after 3 retry :P

get "universal shield v 4.1"

Using teh program, hide your physical drives

mount image on deamon 4.08

run newest Y.A.S.U

How does it hide the drives so that the protection is fooled? Some kind of deep System hack, or?

Weird. One of the first links I found for refence of this tool has crack-download-links in it... So: Yeah, it´s shareware.

For me there´s no need to buy just another tool which will be blacklistet in the next V.x.000000000000001 update of the protection i guess - if it´s really able to beat the protection. What´s about (just for interest) for starforce with this neat thingy then?

Hopefully DT Pro will appear soon and all the hassle with the protection will be history... (for a short while ;-D)

all you have to do is get the 30-day trial version so you can play it and by then dt pro might be out

or even beter YASU 1.05 is out which works

use DT4.08 + yasu 1.04 and unhook any available CD-ROM/DVD-ROM/Writers or deactivate all optical IDE drive(s) in the Device Manager.
i'm sure do like this can launch game, many people use this method play the 1.01

well , if i deactivate ide driver i got an .exe error my vegas_game.exe wont work anymore , if a reactivate my ide driver my game will tell me to put my retail cd in another driver :P this kind of gay .

Someone unhook the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, without use yasu, also can play 1.01

yeah but he unhook manually in his computer case ...i just don't wanna do that ...i waiting for my copy :P an eventual crack is surely on his way

Mount image in DT
Run YASU
Disable your IDE optical drives in Device Manager
Set the R6Vegas_Game.exe compatibility mode to Windows 2000

unhooking? nah just play with discs. much better than unhooking drives. or wait till a crack is out

Ya is working now ..just disable ide drive in device manager just be sure to all deactivate it ! dont need to put compatibility at windows 2000

Nah, still crashes for me.

Disabled all but the daemon drive, and i get a crash instead of an error.

need a fix!!!
