Call Of Duty 2 - Online problem

Hi there

I have a legally purchased copy of Call of Duty 2, but I'm running it using a no-cd crack because it runs faster than off of a DVD.

The serial I'm using is the one from the back of the manual, but when I try to go online, it just says "Awaiting Key Code Authorization"......

Does this mean someone else is using my key code? Or is it to do with the no-cd crack?

@TCK
Well obviously there is an easy way to check your problem! Use the original DVD to see if it connects! If it does connect then you can safely presume that it is in fact the NoCD crack causing the problem.

Then I would return the game to the place of purchase for a replacement! If they dont want to replace it then demand that they install it and try it for themselves! They could of course argue that it doesnt work because you have already used it online, but then you come back with the comment "if I had in fact already copied it and used it online, I would be asking for my money back but I dont want my money back I want a working serial!"
If that fails then you will have to contact the support site and report the place of purchase!

EDIT: You did swap the NoCD crack back for the Original exe before you tried to connect using the DVD, didnt you?
