Game won't run

I'm kinda new to burning pc games although i have before. I have the game installed but it won't run. I downloaded the fix. Just not sure what i'm supposed to do with it. I need help. Please help as i'm getting frustrated. Thanks

erm thinking before you post would be a good idea

1. what game
2. what fix
3. does the game work when you use the uncracked exe and original cd/dvd

might have helped

Sorry for not including info. LOL. Totally new to here and it was my first post.
K the game is:
1.Tiger woods 2006

2. The fix from http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/916920_0.htm

3. I can't get the game to run at all. When i click on the run icon it say to insert the courses disc. Wich i do and it still won't load.

4.When i click on the fix icon(to run the game) it just go's to the black dos screen and does nothing

You do know you are supposed to overwrite your original .exe with the fixed exe right? also, does your game with the original? (eg: not a copy or fixed exe).
