Hehehehe I know a few who are in mid 30's going on 40's. Not all are kids, although kids are coming through, but they do NOT have the knowledge and must learn like the older crackers who through the years gained this knowledge, nobody goes to University and learn how to defeat wrapped up protections.

Competition hastens things, each are competing to be the first therefor always working hard. Its like everyday life with businesses they have competition they drive prices down and better products all the time, if your own then prices are high and products originality lacks.

competition as far as cracks do slow things up as each company try to rush out a release first and by doing so release mini images and fixed exe's instead of nocd cracks to save time,and in the process alot of cracks get forgotten about.
