My God of War booted all the way to the main menu with the fire and kronos is staring at the screen. Is your God of War flattened to a DVD-5? Mine is and I was wondering if that is why your having problems.

yup..my god of war is flattend to a dvd-5 ...but it doesnt go beyond the sony computer entertainment america presents when installed in my ps2 hdd. but i do however play it with no problems when runnin from my dvd-5.

i wonder if i use toxic's new dl patcher i can patch my original god of war iso and then install it to my ps2 hdd. do u think it should work if i do this?

I think it was mainly intended for use on discs not hdd's. But if you get the latest fully patched hdl from ps2hd you can put the whole image of GOW on your hdd with winhiip and play that.

hey tyler..so ur sayin all i need to do is get the elf file from ps2hdd site and then use it to make a new hd loader cd?

p.s. i dont have a mc exploit or all that other stuff..i just my hd loader, dms3 modchip and of course my ps2 hdd. so do i still need to put the hd loader elf file in the mc?
