Okay I got my v4 back from NetMech to discover that the lid is DRASTICALLY different from the v3. I was hoping the differences weren't too dramatic.

Anyway, after measuring it out again here's what I got.

The gray is the part that can be cut out without affecting anything (usable area)

The gray is 1/4 inch around the stuff I shouldn't mess with. I chose 1/4 inch so I have something to glue the Lexan to.

Any design ideas are welcome. I'll put up a couple revisions in a minute.

Also, the view is from inside the lid Power button upper left.

And ignore those lines, I forgot to pull 'em.

Okay here's with the biohazard logo. I evened it out a little bit and cut the tail off the reset/eject button thing. I figured it'd be okay since there's still one post and two screws holding it in place.

The [PS2] is still off-center.

This is a top view. Reset/eject in upper right.

Here's the "rounded" version.

Since I can't cut anyting out of the middle on the right should I mirror it on the left so it's more symmetrical?

This is a much more symmetrical design. Much less Lexan though
