Play Xbox Games on a PC

The Xbox plays on your PC
Published the 01/04/2003 per François

One speaks about it for a long time and it is now a reality. He soon will be possible to play Xbox plays on your PC.

But whereas a software solution was awaited, it is a chart with the format NCV called MatriX NCV which will deal with the role of emulator. The manufacturer is a Chinese company producing modchips for consoles already.
According to information's which we received, there will be two versions of the chart: one bound for the owners of at least GeForce3 Ti (MatriX NCV v3) and the other bound for all the users of GeForce 4 Ti (MatriX NCV v4). It is this last version of which we received the photograph of the prototype. On this subject, the manufacturer ensured us that the final model will be of smaller size, certain components being there only for the needs for the tests.

This emulator will be accompanied by a software making it possible to modify certain parameters like the resolution of posting and the management of Xbox Live (integrated into the chart). All the remainder will be managed automatically so much and so that with each time you introduce Xbox plays into reader DVD of your PC, it will launch out automatically.

Side price, the GeForce3 version will be sold 80$ net of tax and the version GeForce4 70$ net of tax. The availability is planned for May provided that Microsoft does not put sticks in the wheels of this company.
END QUOTE.

Thanks to SuperBro for sending us this info

well, it is possible, and can probably be made sooner than the ps2 due to hardware simularities. But you would have to play from ISO or copied game, as the originals cannot be read.
