Sorry for incisting on this, but could you please explain the difference between data burn and iso burn?
Do you mean (data burn) just to drag & drop the files downloaded from xbos without using an iso creation tool (e.x. xiso). I thought that wouldn't work.
Thanks for the help

Quall999 is on a distinguished road
Data is selecting files from your PC and burning them strait from you hdd to the media. iso burn is burning an iso image, which is one huge file with everything included inside. Kind of like a zip file, with no compresion.

Yest I know that, but I had the impression that this wouldn't work with xbox games.
So you are saying that using Nero, selecting DVD-ROM (not UDF or anything else) and dragging the files downloaded from the XBOX is actually working?
If that's correct what't the use of all these x-iso builders?
I thougt that this would lead to an incompatilbe DVD disc with xbox.

hi just to elaborate this is the "DATA BURN" method i use.

1. first connect your chipped xbox to your pc using evox and a ftp programme "i use flash fxp v2.0 build 908"
2. create a temp folder on your pc label this whatever you want, transfere the game data from the xbox dvd drive "D" to the temp folder on your pc.
3.open your chosen burn software "i prefere recordnowmax 4.50 i have had no failures using this prog." close the auto wizard and go to the main bar at the top of the programme. click file-new-data disc.
4. minimise recordnowmax and open the temp file which contains the xbox game data. select all files highliting them blue and press copy using the right mouse button.
5. maximise recordnowmax and paste all the game data in to the provided burn window.
6. insert blank dvd-r and press ok.
7 sit back , watch some tv and in no time you will have a finished xbox game.

this method is in my opinion the best available and i have created over 80 backups with absolutley no problems at all.

Thanks.
Yes, that I had in mind but I thought that was not working.
I will try a couple of games that didn'w work with iso and revert.
P.S. 1 If that's the way, why all the fazz with ISO tools?
P.S. 2 what about the label of the new data disc?

hi
yes this method will work.
1. don't realy know seems like people trying to make it hard for themselves. i have always used the data burn method
2.label the disc any thing you want. if the programme gives you the option to label the disc do it.
