Counterstrike???

Ok.... I just bought the Generations pack.... all installed... and the following patches came with the cds:

half life 1.1.0.6
half life 1.1.0.8
oposing force 1.1.0.8
and
counterstrike 1.0.0.3


I'm in the middle of downloading the counterstrike 1.0.0.5 patch (116megs)

so my half life is @ version 1.1.0.8
and my cs will be @ version 1.0.0.5

what else do i need?

See if all u wanted to play was CS, u didnt have to install Half-Life.

If all u really want to do is play CS, dont do anything, U r fine with the patch u are downloading. Some of the big mods also let u install to CS.

Make sure u do play Half-Life though. Cracking game. Best FPS I have played. (I havent played GoldenEye )
