It is possible that srep could not kill all the duplicates, because you compressed the files separately.

I'm going to make 1 archive for the vpp files which should fix things. I'm worried in case I have such a lomg compression but the archive returns corrupt

Edit: I had to limit srep to 64k because default 512 gave me memory allocation crashes. Will this ruin the conversion?
My srepx64-settings
-a2 -m5f -l512
No errors on pack & unpack. ((I use cls-srep from ProFrager).

Why xzlib?

There's no need - my conversion: srep+lolz/$ogg=oggre/$jpg=packjpg/$mp3=pmtmpz/$dds=lolz

Original size: ~15.3GB, Final Size: ~4.3GB

I included the OST.

There are a few, mostly for pdf, png, swf files, but I was too lazy to create a new group. It doesn't make a difference either.

Try vfx unpacker, pack loose files, then afterwards metroex tool to recompress.

I remember trying to make a precompressor for this but I just didn't finish it and I no longer have the game so I guess I should download it first and try to write the complete code for precompression.
