Hi ! What is the Best Method for "Gears Tactics"?
i tried ( xZLib:max+srep:m3f+lolz:dtb1:d192m:mtt1:mt6:mc1023 )
any help for a better method!

i didn't find oodle dll in game files but you can use this one, gives good ratio.

The version the game use.

Somewhere inside game folder should be an oodle dll file (it contains a number in file name). Use this file to precompress the game with oo2recm.

It's been a while since I posted a conversion, so here's one I quite enjoyed.

Total unpacked size: 5.5GB

Compression as follows:
  • *.bik =
    Code:

  • *.mp3 =
    Code:
    packmp3
  • Everything else:
    Code:
    xtool:e:precomp:c128m,t80p:zlib+srep:m3f:l512+lolz:dt:dtb1:dtw1:dtm1:dto1:dtd1:mtt1:mt4:d64m:fba4096

Total packed size using above methods: 4GB

anyone knows how to compress CoD MW2R? data files has a small amount of zlib and oodle Leviathan/Hydra. tried with xtool012:zlib+srep+lolz but result did not satisfy.

You need xtool v0.12 + lz4 codec

i think it's not. there is almost no lz4 stream.

and final size still high.

upd.

maybe something wrong with my arc.ini, i left packcmd as xtool.exe e : precomp : t4 : zlib, now changed it to e : precomp : t4 : {option} and trying with this method again.
