i have noticed one thing if you are using windows 8 and u have files installed to the program files folder UAC and the permissions for windows 8 is crap even when u turn all permissions off.so just incase have all games installed outside the programs files folder eg: c:\games\whatevergames\ i had problem compiling and compressing games that was in program files in windows 8.windows 7 works perfect. i have tested this in vmware a few times and it to do with windows 8 and hows its permissions are set.i just gave up trying to fix that problem.

it works on BOTH OS's BUT as mikey26 stated you CANNOT use Ultrarc on windows8 trying to compress files within Program Files. ( DOES NOT WORK ) anywhere else is fine.

I will send it in a few hours, I was offline for the past 2 or 3 days (sorting out university stuff), and I first have to implement and fix what you testers have found. But I quite astonished with UltraARC and the features it has, yet I don't even use it lol.

It has made making conversions SO MUCH EASIER, no more having to bother with data lists & HOURS of testing, moving files around, retesting. I know I'll never go back to that way ever again, wouldn't have been possible without your skills at programming, and all the countless hours in bug fixing as well.

Just a HUGE THANKS for all you've done, from all of us that make these conversions, at the countless numbers who use them.

i do agree Ultra Arc is Ultra Awesome.the old way was so time consuming sometimes i would just wanna bash my screen in cause u wait so long for conversion to be done and then u a few megs over and it dont on 1 dvd so annoying and you begin testing again.and not to mention if it was a ubisoft games the testing on reg files omg.never again...Awesome work on this software.
