Yeah, you're right. After burning them into DVDs the installation runs without any problems. Great game!

Here is tutorial for polish version (probably only) of Call of Duty 4 based on @Grumpy tutorial.
If this necessary i will translate for english but on Sunday.

In the first, sorry for my English.

1.Stwórz folder tymczasowy DVD1.
1.Create a Temp folder DVD1.
2.Skopiuj zawartość oryginalnej płyty do tego folderu.
2.Copy all the contents of the oryginal DVD to this folder.
3.W folderze DVD1\Setup\Data\main skasuj folder video i następujące pliki:
3.In folder DVD1\Setup\Data\main delete folder video and following files:
iw_10.iwd
iw_11.iwd
localized_polish_iw00.iwd
localized_polish_iw01.iwd
localized_polish_iw02.iwd
localized_polish_iw03.iwd
localized_polish_iw04.iwd
localized_polish_iw05.iwd
localized_polish_iw06.iwd
4.Za pomocą programu ORCA wyedytuj plik CoD4MW.msi w zakładce media następująco:
4.In ORCA edit CoD4MW.msi in Media part like this:

Code:
DiskId LastSequence DiskPrompt Cabinet VolumeLabel
1 5 COD4_DVD1 PB.cab COD4_DVD1
2 130 COD4_DVD1 COD4_DVD1
3 198 COD4_DVD2 COD4_DVD2
4 199 COD4_DVD1 COD4_DVD1
5.Stwórz folder na dodatkowe pliki takie jak patche czy twój osobisty klucz gry.
5.Copy additiona files like patches etc.
6:Stwórz obraz/Wypal płytę z nazwą COD4_DVD1
6.Make image/Burn with name COD4_DVD1

7.Stwórz folder tymczasowy DVD2.
7.Create a Temp folder DVD2.
8.Skopiuj zawartość oryginalnej płyty do tego folderu.
8.Copy all the contents of the oryginal DVD to this folder.
9.W folderze DVD2\Setup\Data skasuj folder zone
9.In folder DVD2\Setup\Data delete folder zone
10.W folderze DVD2\Setup\Data\main skasuj następujące pliki:
10.In folder DVD2\Setup\Data\main delete following files:
iw_00.iwd
iw_01.iwd
iw_02.iwd
iw_03.iwd
iw_04.iwd
iw_05.iwd
iw_06.iwd
iw_07.iwd
iw_08.iwd
iw_09.iwd
11.Wyedytuj plik autorun.inf w notatniku następująco:
11.In notepad edit autorun.inf like this:

[autorun]
open=0
icon=Setup\rsrc\CoD4.ico

12.Stwórz obraz/Wypal płytę z nazwą COD4_DVD2.
12.Make image/Burn with name COD4_DVD2.

And i know there i some doubled files in DVD1 and DVD 2 but it does not interupt in spliting.

Instalacja wygląda następująco.
Instal sequence will be:
DVD1-DVD2-error-DVD1=forks fine

This error is from windows not from game. But when i insert DVD 1 press retry game will be installed properly.

I too don't understand, why @ERASER_M can wrote in German but i can`t in Polish.
Could someone explain me the difference?

Finally i got all working myself. Many thanx to all you guys for making me have a bright moment to learn Orca more.

here it is:

TUTORIAL FOR RUSSIAN VERSION

Create a Temp folder and name this folder COD4_DVD1 -this will be the name (Label) of DVD1.
Copy all the contents of the original DVD to this folder.
In folder COD4_DVD1\Setup\Data\main delete folder video and following files:
iw_02.iwd
iw_03.iwd
iw_04.iwd
iw_05.iwd
iw_06.iwd
iw_07.iwd
iw_08.iwd
iw_09.iwd
iw_10.iwd
iw_11.iwd
localized_russian_iw00.iwd
localized_russian_iw01.iwd
localized_russian_iw02.iwd
localized_russian_iw03.iwd
localized_russian_iw04.iwd
localized_russian_iw05.iwd
localized_russian_iw06.iwd
localized_russian_iw07.iwd

Use DVD1 to create there folders for any Updates, Patches or Cracks.

Use ORCA and edit CoD4MW.msi, select Media in left window and change values in right window like this:

Code:
DiskId LastSequence DiskPrompt Cabinet VolumeLabel
1 5 COD4_DVD1 PB.cab COD4_DVD1
2 122 COD4_DVD1 COD4_DVD1
3 193 COD4_DVD2 COD4_DVD2
4 200 COD4_DVD1 COD4_DVD1

Here is the screen:

Make image/burn with name (Label) COD4_DVD1.

Create another Temp folder and name this folder COD4_DVD2 -this will be the name (Label) of DVD2.
From the Call of Duty 4 DVD9 copy ‘only’ the ‘Setup’ folder to the COD4_DVD2 folder.

Now Open the COD4_DVD2\Setup folder and Delete the ‘rsrc’ folder.

Open the COD4_DVD2\Setup\Data\Mods folder and Delete the ‘ModWarfare’ folder.

Open the COD4_DVD2\Setup\Data\main folder and Delete the following files:

iw_00.iwd
iw_01.iwd

Open the COD4_DVD2\Setup\Data\zone\russian folder and Delete ALL the files from there.

Again from the Call of Duty 4 DVD9 copy the ‘autorun.inf’ file to the COD4_DVD2 folder.
Using the Notepad open the Autorun.inf file and edit as shown below then Save it:

[autorun]
open=0
icon=Setup\data\CoD4.ico

Burn the contents of the COD4_DVD2 folder to a DVD with the Label: COD4_DVD2

Installing
The install sequence will be DVD1, DVD2 then DVD1 again.
Because the install finishes with DVD1 it is better to include any patches, cracks etc on DVD1.

Don't give us a picture; we prefer textual error messages - and in English so translate it.

using FRENCH conversion ( POST #2 ) the volume labels must be:

COD4_MW_DVD_1
COD4_MW_DVD_2

According to the supplied msi file in the post. If the DVD Labels arent the same as posted above thats why the error " incorrect label name"
