Dawn of War - Winter Assault (A Working Way No CD)

If you can't find the disk1chec.exe in the main folder turn on show all hidden files and folders in the folder options window under the view tab

Ok, listen up. Follow these steps. i tried all above and no such luck. untill i tried this just to see what happens. And it works...

1. Install DOW fully. ( I burnt my Image to cd's. 3 of them & installed that way. shouldnt matter though )
2 Install Winter assault, but let it fully patch DOW then it will install itself. ( again i burnt it to cd first )

Now, go into the Dawn Of war instalation directory, Should be C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War.

Now go to Tools, Folder options, Click on View Tab and select show hidden files and folders. then apply.

Ok, look for a folder named Disk1Check and just change the name to Disk1Check OLD.

Now, go to gamecopyworld and download the Winter Assault [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed Image #2. Now unzip it.

Now I use deamon tools, So using deamon tools with all options off. Mount the file WH4-KWA-MINI.BWT.

Then the option to play the game should pop up. click play game as you would normaly. It will take about a minute for the disk search but it will work.

Make sure you dont have any other winter assault image mounted, of a burnt copy of the game in any of your drives.

Then using the mounted image, run it like normal.

Im a noob when it comes to this kinda thing, but i found out how to do it, im sure you can to.

Please leave your responces if it works. Id like to know i helped

Almost all of these methods work for me up to the point of it asking for the second disk during the disk search, in which case emulation, fixed images and burnt cds are detected. Anyone have any idea how i can get past this without using an original disk?

It Actually worked for me while other pretty similar solutions mentioned in this forum didn't Nice work Sintep.
