Mouse problem in GTA SA

the mouse doesnt react in GTA SA

it works rarley (when i change the USB port)

someone got any idea??

i've had this problem before
i found that it was to do with the mouse not being detected as a mouse from memory
i fixed it by changing to gamepad in the options menu
you may also have to stick the mouse into a different usb port before doing this
if that doesn't work then

try entering then exiting the pause menu i read somewhere thats helped for some people

also maybe trying a ps/2 mouse might work
