Trojan found in KOTOR II Fixed EXE files? Is it real?
I just DL'ed the fixed exe for KOTOR II from gamecopyworld, and after scanning it with Mcafee, it says there's a trojan inside the zip file. I've read about these generic.dx trojans being "false-positives" or whatnot, and Im confused...Is this file safe, or am I going to screw my laptop by opening it?
The file Im referring to is the * Knights of the Old Republic 2 v1.0b/v1.02b (v2.1.0.0) [ENGLISH] Fixed EXE* Can someone PLEASE help me, cuz apparently this is the ONLY fixed exe on the internet, and the exe securom sent me isnt working at all... Is this a real trojan, or just some fluke by my virus scanner? |
