Crack problems help please:(

I dont know if this is a common problem.. I couldn't find the awnser.
Also i'm not great at all this tech stuff so its proberly simple.

I have got the metal gear solid integral (computer version of no 1) and the vr missions cracks.

I thought the purpose of cracks was so you don't need to use the cd. vr missions work fine but the main game says I need a cd (says please insert disk 1/disk2 when I try to do anything, but it does go to the menu).

I got one of my brothers freinds to help me, and he has no idea either.

Is this simple to fix?
what information will you need?

Read the .nfo file that comes with them with notepad, there may be other instructions on what to do by reading that.

Like copy over movie files from media to installed directory.

It has no information or help files whatsoever unfortunatly

Is this a common easy to solve problem? To stop the CD being needed?

You also have to realise that MGS 1 may have been re-released under a different publisher, so the crack will have a chance of not working due to game being updated to run on today's machines etc.

If you can link to file I can check whats what.

Hm, maybe it is just a crack and no noCD...?! ... And what about disc-images? Maybe a simple protection to just run it from images without having any trouble at all?

Maybe we need someone pointing to the faq?! ;-D
