Lightbulb I found a way to fix the speed bug in Revenant.

I found a fix for the speed bug in Revenant.

I install the game "Full".

Make a new dir "Movies".
Copy the "Mix_Credits.smk, Mix_FMV1.smk, Mix_Fmv2.smk, Mix_Fmv3English.smk" to the new Movie dir.
And Copy "Track01.mp3, Track02.mp3, Track03.mp3" to the root of the game dir.

Run the v1.22 update.

Now find a crack for v1.22 and crack it.

Now open "revenant.ini" find the line "VidMemZBuffe=No".
And set it to Yes. "VidMemZBuffe=Yes".
And in the options set it to "Limit Game Speed".
Last one. Set Revenant.exe to "Compatibility mode to Win95".

This is my options in Revenant.ini:

[Options]
DoubleTapTicks=10
ShowDialog=Yes
PlaySpeech=Yes
CombatFace=Yes
AutoCombat=Yes
Software3D=No
Windowed=No
ZoomSpeed=10
VertPanSpeed=2
HorzPanSpeed=2
ViolenceLevel=4
EnhancedLighting=Yes
RealTimeLight=Yes
Violence=4
NoTexOverlay=No
GammaLevel=3
MusicVolume=0
EffectsVolume=127
SquishyScroll=Yes
ShortEditorDisplay=No
LastOptions=""
LastEditedModule="Demo"
NoCombatResults=No
NoEAX=No
No3DAudio=No
Cache3DImagery=No
BeepOnChat=Yes
VidMemZBuffer=Yes
WaitMapUpdate=No

Please someone test it for me.
And i can upload it to GameCopyWorld

Is this crack-related?

Thanks :)

Just running it in Win95 compatibility mode without changing "VidMemZBuffer" fixed the stuttering for me. Thanks!

To get movies to work, I made a folder in my install directory named 'CD' and copied the contents of CD2 into it then changed:
MoviePath="[CDROM]" to MoviePath=".\CD" in the ini. Movies work, but I haven't played the game far enough yet to see if the music will.

Also, since Revenant was made (I think) for 3DFX video cards, it will not run using hardware rendering and most people will have to change: 'Software3D=No' to 'Software3D=Yes' or the game won’t even start.

Anyways, runs perfect for me now with XP Pro SP2!
