BF 2 :"cd/dvd emulation software detected" message blocking play

ive started getting this message lately urging me to disable emulation software even though im not using it(i have the original dvd)...ive tried deleting alcohol 120% and clone cd and still it blocks play....ive re-installed the game and patched up to 1.4 beta...still no luck...it did work on 1.3 with a no dvd fix but it throws me off internet multiplay...any ideas folks.????....i repeat:i am using original game and no one else has key

athalon 3200
asus 6800 gt with latest drivers
1 gig 3200 mem

(Wrong forum, moved.) Have you tried removing all the programs listed under "Exit all software that may be blacklisted by copy protections" in the PC Games forum FAQ?

was just browsing and saw this, I get the same message from the sims 2, guess im blacklisted by that then, but I've uninstalled the game and the emulators exept for one..then downloaded a new copy of the game and still the error(?) message...

I would like an easy step by step guide to get the blacklist off.

Do not discuss warez! ............... Warez means not having the original CD/DVD, for reasons including but not limited to:
...........................the original CD/DVD having been damaged or broken for any reason (kids, pets, damaged CD/DVD drive etc.);

If you didnt mean to offend the rules then maybe you should have made yourself familiar to them first!

I crashed my car the other day, now its undriveable!! Ive still got the keys so should I just take someone else's?? Ok the value may be different to the cost of a broken CD/DVD but the principal is still the same!!

If your disc is broken then you contact the publisher for a replacement disc!
