Rise of Nations:Rise of legends

Hello everybody!
I have rise of nations,rise of legends installed in my pC.
Previously it was working fine and nothing wrong happened with it.But since last two days i am having problem with it.
In the campaign mode,where Giacomo is shown(in terrain),whenever i click a location and proceed to attack,,the screen forwards to the strategic map and then returns to the same screen where Giacomo is standing.
i m unable to understand this problem.Plz anyone of u ,,do tell me to fix this problem.
