PS2 firewire port...
on the PS2 near the USB ports there is the iLink(firewire) port. can that be used to record video from the PS2? so i use use the small 4 pin to 4 pin firewire cable to connect the Ps2 to dv camcorder will that let me know video from thegames?

No I really dont believe so. The Firewire port on the V1-V8's are just for setting up a LAN game locally as far as I know.
