Hi guys! I have a very strange issue here... No matter how I try to install the game (original CDs, Alcohol 120% 4x images), I just can't seem to get past the damn license agreement screen right after the CD-Key screen… The license screen is simply blank with no text and as soon as I press Yes (or Agree), a message appears saying I should update to DirectX 9c and okay and desktop… I have been on DX9c ever since it was a private beta and all other latest games like Gun, X3 are running 100%!! Want to hear something even more strangely? I installed and played the demo perfectly + NFS: MW was working flawlessly just a nights ago… I had a bad system crash and I just recovered (no loss, same settings) and NFS: MW no longer installs… playing is too far! It’s not the Black Edition… it’s the original simple 4 CD edition and my DVD-ROM reads perfectly so no read errors either… Also, Civilization IV crashes often on my machine and when it does, it leaves a mess of my video hardware… all access to D3D is lost and the DirectX sub-system is unusable for any other 3d application… I remember that Civ4 crashed that night and I forgot to reboot (to restore the D3D system) and started NFS: MW it worked then the chaos started and BSoD appeared and son and so on… However, I don’t know what all of this has to do with installation system? I’m not going to format because of one game and I was in a good mood hat I’ll burn rubber all night but now I’m really pissed at myself, my system and NFS: MP (most pissed) … Me going to bed and tomorrow I’ll check on another system… If anyone knows about this, please leave a post or two… Take Care!
